Are You Prepared?

Hurricane season in the Southeast is never something to celebrate. In fact, as a transportation broker, this season brings me more trepidation than joy. I start thinking of the Alice Cooper album, Welcome to My Nightmare from 1975. But then I remember all of the self-help writers and sales trainers who have preached a maxim similar to; “You need to view every problem as an opportunity!” Let us try to be positive – so this year, this season, the people who work in the produce and transportation industries have myriad “opportunities”.
