Allen Lund Company Receives the “Best in Cargo Security Award” for 2013

La Cañada Flintridge Calif., April 7, 2014 – The Allen Lund Company has been awarded the 2013 “Best in Cargo Security Award” by CargoNet® for its theft prevention program.  CargoNet is a division of Verisk Crime Analytics, a Verisk Analytics (Nasdaq: VRSK) company.

The award acknowledges CargoNet members that demonstrate leading practices in cargo security through the use of technology, information sharing, standard operating procedures, and support & engagement of the CargoNet program.  “It’s always a challenge for intermediaries to justify a return on their security investment,” said Anthony Canale, general manager, CargoNet.  “Allen Lund Company clearly understands the importance of cargo security and continually applies the appropriate resources to protect its customers’ freight,” he added.
