The Minneapolis office opened its doors in 1994. The office is well established, has a talented, hard-working, and dedicated team and is ripe with opportunity to grow and expand.

JOB SUMMARY

The office manager is responsible for the overall success of the office to include Sales, Operations and Profitability. This is a Key front-line leadership role in the organization, in which you will be responsible for creating an office that is capable of handling the upward growth of the company. The office manager will work in coordination with VP’s, to insure success in all areas of operations including teaching, training and development of office staff. The expectation is that this position is the key driver of sales and growth within The Allen Lund Company. 

Background Required


•    Freight Brokerage Sales and Operations (7+ years)

•    Sales Management (Hire, Train, Mentor) (5+ years)

•    Mode of Transportation (i.e. Truckload, LTL, Intermodal, Specialized)

•    Strong Selling Skills

•    Strong Negotiation Ability (Carrier, Customer, Margin Integrity)

•    Develop and execute business plan strategies

•    Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)
