The role of the Logistics Support is to help facilitate efficient traffic movement of loads that Allen Lund Company is assigned. As an on-site employee at one of our customers, your professionalism and strong communication skills are essential. Duties include but are not limited to:
Carrier Coordination
- Assist drivers in navigating the company yard
- Communicate both verbally and electronically with drivers
- Start reefer units
- Clean out trailers as necessary
- Follow all safety requirements
Customer Service
- Maintain up to date load status at all times
- Updates trucks on the road of any status changes
- Insure carrier arrival times at depot
- Communicate verbally and electronically
- Work closely with the San Francisco team
