Allen Lund Company welcomes returning and new Verbum Dei high school student interns. This is the 13th year ALC has partnered with the Verbum Dei High School Work-Study program. ALC has developed a program that gives students the chance to develop important job training skills and experience with tasks in each of our departments to help build upon their education process. Verbum Dei students will have the opportunity to job share and participate in informational interviews with employees. In addition to learning from our departments, the interns will gain exposure to company culture.
Pamela Koerber, human resources coordinator commented, “Getting to work with the Verb Interns has given me the unique opportunity to help these young men rise above their fears, and learn how to fit in and succeed in a business environment. Personally, I truly enjoy getting to know them during their high school years, and we all feel a sense of pride attending their graduation.
