Cyber Attack Makes Big Waves

A cyber attack on the morning of June 27th affected an estimated 2000 IT systems in America and across Europe. Probably of the most concern to those of us in shipping was the impact of this attack on Maersk Line and its container shipping division. Maersk operates in 76 ports worldwide and every one of those ports was impacted. Containers and chassis could not be tracked, ingate or outgate records were not kept at some ports.  To view the entire article click here.
