Like most Dad’s of school-age kids, I try and keep up on the most recent “cool things” they are paying attention to. Texting, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat (I’m still trying to figure that one out)… I’ve tried to learn them all. However, the most surprising to me was the heavy usage of YouTube. My kids watch a lot of YouTube, and for them it has replaced traditional TV. I watch a few videos myself now, and I really like a daily vlog by a filmmaker/entrepreneur named Casey Neistat. He’s spoken at TED, and has been in the news for a few viral videos, (you can check out his YouTube channel here). One of the cool things he does is toy around with drone camera footage.
