It occurs every year at almost the same time. Not much changes from year to year, but safety is always the primary focus. The 2016 Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) annual International Roadcheck took place June 7th – 9th all across the United States. According to the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance website, International Roadcheck, is the largest targeted enforcement program on commercial motor vehicles in the world, with nearly 17 trucks or buses inspected, on average, every minute across North America during a 72-hour period. These inspections are not intended to punish drivers or carriers. These programs exist to educate drivers and all of those involved in order to prevent future accidents, injuries, and deaths.
