Business Development Specialists work in and out of the office in an effort to grow the business base, and as such function highly independently. The majority of their time is spent calling on potential customers. Working directly with the sales offices in our transportation, logistics and international division, their primary responsibility is to maximize volume and profitability of new customer freight through strategic targeting of accounts that are consistent with the business goals of their assigned unit. Success in this position requires excellent communication, presentation and negotiating skills, as well as effective problem solving abilities with a strong customer service orientation. You must be highly self-motivated, goal driven, and have excellent time-management skills.
