September is here and by now kids are back at school. Instead of packing the car to go to the beach or the pool we find ourselves packing lunches instead. Coincidentally, September is National Food Safety Month and Food Safety Education Month. Started in 1994, the month was designated to help the public have more awareness as to their food sources. This years theme is “let it flow,” referring to the flow of frozen food from distributors, to freezers, to the kitchen, and ultimately to our plates. Much like our desire for our kids to be safe and to have the highest quality of education, we as consumers are demanding to know more about the foods we eat. To continue reading click here.
