Moving it Forward: Have You Heard the Buzz About “Electronic Logs”?

Every year our company exhibits at a regional trade show in Ohio; the theme: Nursery. Most of the exhibits are made up of growers, landscapers, equipment manufacturers, and other companies related, one way or another, to the nursery industry. This year, however, I was surprised. Two companies, new to the show, were there to promote their line of driver tracking and logging systems. They must have heard the buzz about new regulations being proposed by DOT to “require interstate commercial truck and bus companies to use Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) in their vehicles to improve compliance with the safety rules that govern the number of hours a driver can work.” To continue reading click here
